Lyndon
Kevin Drum’s post about Larry Craig, which mentioned a former LBJ aide who was busted in a similar sting, reminded me of the excellent short story by David Foster Wallace called Lyndon.
It begins, “My name is Lyndon Johnson. I own the fucking floor you stand on, boy.” and chronicles a fictional tale of a gay aide of LBJ‘s. It’s a strange but deeply moving story.
