Giuliani's Chances

Having grown up in New York City during the Giuliani years, I find it reasonably absurd to imagine the man as president. Part of the reason I think he doesn’t have much of a shot is that’s he just an unpleasant, unlikeable jerk, and at some point in the campaign that’s going to come out. But others disagree. In the Weekly Standard, Reihan and Ross give Giuliani some advice on how to run, and over at TNR, Michael Tomasky and Fred Seigel are debating Giuliani’s chances.

I think the best commentary, though, on Giuliani comes from this week’s Onion, which bears an article with the headline: “Giuliani to Run for President of 9/11”
