Inequality Is Real
There’s been a long and interesting back and forth between economists Alan Reynolds and Paul Krugman over whether the increase in inequality that many have noted is simply a statistical artifact that doesn’t reflect reality. Alan Reynolds argues (unpersuasively) that it is, and Krugman argues it is not. Mark Thoma over at the Economists View has a good run down of the back and forth.
