Dig UP!
Adam Conner sums up last night’s speech perfectly with this nugget of wisdom from the Simpson’s episode “Homer the Vigilante.” It ends up with Homer, Marge, Police Chief Wiggum, Mayor Quimby and others at the bottom of a 50-foot hole they dug while searching for a non-existent treasure:
Quimby: I guess we're not going to find anything.
Otto: Um, how are we going to get out of here?
Homer: We'll dig our way out! (it doesn't work)
Wiggum: No, DIG UP, stupid.
