Aid and Comfort
For years the Bush administration has attacked its critics by warning them that any criticism of the White House would only provide succor to America’s enemies. For that reason, there’s something kind of satisfying about seeing Nouri al-Maliki level the same charge at Condoleezza Rice, who recently said the Maliki government was “on borrowed time.” Talking to foreign journalists today Maliki said such comments only serve to give the insurgents a “moral boost.” Touche!
