The Pride and Joy of Illinois

Perhaps my favorite thing about Chicago is the way it combines a blue collar, working class ethos driven by an ever-changing immigrant population, with the cosmopolitan cultural delights that us liberal elitists so love. In that vein, and in preparation for Sunday, this strikes me as a perfect synthesis of what makes this city so great.
