Inequality Matters
There’s been a fairly robust discussion of late in the blogosphere about rising inequality in America. When conservatives aren’t trying to deny it exists, they tend to argue that it really doesn’t matter, since we have a democracy that guarantees political equality, which is the kind that matters most. Of course, the clear response to that is that income wealth inequality create political inequality, a point which Brad Plumer makes nicely today over at TNR:
