Bob Kuttner’s cover profile of Bob Rubin. It really is remarkable how much influence he holds in Democratic party economic policy circles, and how uniformly people have interpeted the 1990s expansion as the triumph of balanced budgets in spurring economic growth. I’ll await to hear what Rubin-acolyte reader KS thinks of the man’s influence.
