Economic Populism and Immigration

Some interesting thoughts on the tensions between traditional left perspectives on economic populism and immigration policy. I don’t agree with everything said here (immigration restriction further depresses wages, I think, because it drives people into the underground economy), but there are real tensions here. More thoughts later.
