Krugman on Obama

In case it isn’t obvious I had a great deal of affection and admiration for Barack Obama. Perhaps out of a weird sense of loyalty from back in the days when I was one of a bunch of scrappy young progressives in Chicago trying to get him elected in the Democratic primary. For whatever reason, I’m willing to forgive him his transgressions and flaws. But his current social security posturing it’s inordinately frustrating and almost inexcusable for the reasons that Paul Krugman outlines.
