More Email Weirdness

If you haven’t been following the strange saga of Gen. Petraeus’ spokesman’s unsolicited, ungrammatical email to Glenn Greenwald, you can get caught up to speed here. Long story short: someone sent an email from the account of Col. Boylan (Gen Petraeus’ spokeperson) to Glenn Greenwald hectoring him for something he posted on his blog. The prose was, um, idiosyncratic. When Greenwald contacted Boylan to ask if he, indeed, sent the email, he denied it. It now seems this is something of a pattern. I don’t know what to say about this, but it’s really, really weird.
