Friend Endorsements

Ben Smith points out he’s been getting a lot of friend endorsements in his inbox, from people in his social circle who are explaining why they’re voting the way they are. (Due to demographics the overwhelming majority have been for Obama)

I’ve received a number of similar emails and think it’s a great trend. Democratic choices are largely expressions of the preferences and worldviews of those in our social circle, so friends make for the best surrogates. Whomever you’re supporting today, it can’t hurt to write up your reasons and send them around.
